Mechatronics cluster

The Mechatronics Cluster (MC) was launched at the beginning of 2003. The goal has not changed in five years: To establish a technology-oriented network and to support the more than 330 cluster partners in their innovative capacity and thus competitive strength.

The MC sees itself as an information and cooperation platform for companies from the fields of mechanical and plant engineering, equipment and apparatus engineering, their specific suppliers and service providers as well as the relevant R&D, training and further education institutions. To enable companies to exchange experiences in an informal atmosphere, specialist events, company tours, regulars’ tables and study trips are regularly organized. Another important task of the cluster is the initiation and support of cooperation projects. This enables companies to efficiently realize innovative ideas with suitable partners and thus increase their competitiveness.
